Tricycle and Bicycle

Your preschooler may be transitioning from a tricycle to a bicycle. This is a perfect time to encourage your child to compare and contrast the two.
Children are naturally curious and you may not need to ask any questions, but here are a few to get you started, just in case.
Flip over both vehicles. Ask your child to notice the differences. Is there a chain on either one? If so, what does the chain do? Do they both have pedals? Where are they located? What are they attached to? How many wheels on each vehicle?

There are many other observations to be made about a child's bike and tricycle. Let us know what your child discovered.
