Making Ice Cream Cones in Spanish

Enjoy the last few months of eating ice cream and learn a little Spanish at the same time.

Make an ice cream cone:
Supplies: Computer paper, Scissors, Glue

Use the Spanish words instead of the English words while you are working with your child. Then continue to practice these words while out at the grocery store or at home cutting up fruit.

Draw a triangle (tree an goo low) on a piece of paper (pah pell) and color it brown (cah fay). Help your child cut it out with scissors (tea hair ahs). Draw 3-6 circles on paper and color them brown, pink, purple, orange and red. Leave one white. As you color each circle you can either review the colors in Spanish or the flavors. Once they are colored cut them out with scissors and glue the circles on top of the triangle to make a very large ice cream cone
