Pitch a Tent During the Day
Small or large backyards can quickly become a forest campsite with a little imagination.
Pitch a tent or make a fort by putting a blanket over a table. Build a fire ring by collecting rocks. Add sticks and twigs to make a pretend fire. Use a kiddie pool or puddle for a pretend lake and go fishing. Cook the fish over the fire and don't forget to roast the pretend marshmallows. Finally, fall asleep under the stars and tell stories.
Preschoolers imaginations are endless. Play along with your child and spend the morning camping.
