Making a Castle

Are you a saver of papertowel rolls? Here's a fun, simple project for a family who like castles.

Supplies:
* 3 Paper Towel Roll insides
* Scissors
* Glue
* Paint
* Construction paper

Steps:
1. Cut Paper Towel Roll insides in half.
2. Cut rectangle sections out of the tops of 2 or 3 halves.
3. Paint Paper Towel Roll Halves (you can add glitter if you like to the wet paint).
4. Let them Dry.
5. Glue two Paper Towel Rolls together.
6. Once the first two dry, glue another one to make 3 across.
7. When dry glue the 2 or 3 left in front.
8. When Castle dries, Glue it to construction paper or card stock.

Does your child like stories with princes and princesses? Making a castle after reading a story is a great way to tie in a craft activity with a favorite book.
