With construction paper, Popsicle sticks (or cardboard tubes, pipe cleaners or straws) and glue, you can make puppets of favorite characters and retell stories.
You don't need to be an artist to make puppets. Your child will have fun retelling stories even if the 3 Billy Goats look like donkeys.
If your child is artistic, encourage him to color the characters and decorate. If your child doesn't enjoy coloring, you can do all the cutting and gluing yourself and let your child use the puppets.
Play together and have fun trip-trapping across the bridge (bridge in photo is made out of a cookie box).
