Stringing is a great skill to learn and a lot of fun. No need to buy stringing beads, just check out your pantry for a box of pasta.
Items needed:
1.Yarn, sting or shoelace.
2.Tape.
3.Uncooked penne, macaroni or any other pasta that has a hole in it.
Wrap tape around one end of a piece of string. The tape will make it easier for your child to guide the string through the pasta.
String the first piece of pasta.
Tie that first piece onto the string so remaining pieces don't slide off.
String the remaining pieces.
If you have more than one type of pasta, you can make a pattern (penne, macaroni, penne, macaroni). Your child can add color by using markers on the pasta.
