The classic game of Hopscotch can be difficult for young children. Try this easier version which allows children to see the numbers clearly in both directions.
The game is set up so children hop/jump on 1,2,3, stop and turn, hop/jump back on 4,5,6.
Rules.
1.Children toss a rock onto the game.
2.They hop on each number, jumping over the number where the rock has landed.
3.Turn is finished after jumping up one side and down the other.
It's easy enough for a variety of ages to play.
So grab some chalk, a rock and get ready for outdoor activity.
