Marble Painting

Painting with marbles is a fun way to create a painting.
Supplies:
1.box with lid such as a shoe box. The box can be made of cardboard or plastic.
2. a few marbles
3. paper cut to fit the bottom of the box
4. paint
5. empty cup for marbles
6. smock

How to paint.
1. Put a smock on your child.
2. Cut the paper so it fits in the bottom of the box. Place the paper in the bottom of the box.
3. Drip paint onto the paper. You can use one color or a variety.
4. Place marbles in box.
5. Put the lid on the box.
6. Tilt the box side to side so the marbles move inside the box.
7. Take lid off and admire your painting.
8. Pour marbles into a cup. Replace paper and make another.

If your child has control of the box, it's fun to do this without the lid. Your child can watch the marbles move as they spread the paint.
