Bounce a Ball

When was the last time you rolled, bounced, tossed a ball back and forth for a long time?
With a preschooler in the house, you have a built-in play partner and an excuse to play ball. Preschoolers are just learning how to use a ball in a variety of ways. Toss a ball to your child and instantly he'll want to toss it back. Roll the ball to him, and he'll roll it back. Bounce it to him and he'll return it. He might be learning to control the ball, so praise him even if the ball ends up far away from you. It's a fun way to spend time together and increase your child's skills.
